Tars International To Be In Charge of Alonso’s Merchandising
The Anglo-Turkish Company with the support of Italy’s ARS Will Produce and Market the Official Promotional Items of Fernando Alonso.
Tars International will be the company in charge of producing and distributing the items of the Fernando Alonso Collection 2008, thanks to the collaboration with Italian-based ARS. The agreement that was signed a few days ago grants Tars a worldwide exclusive, through its affiliate Stars Apparels Ltd, to produce and distribute the official merchandising items of the Spanish Formula One champion who returned to Renault this year.
The items of the Fernando Alonso Collection will be available for sale in the next few days, although their production has been programmed to reach its peak during the Barcelona Grand Prix.
“This is a very important investment" said Tars’ President, Mr. Murat Tarsuslugil. “It proves our interest in the F1 world. We are producing since several months now items of the official F1 brand: Our new commitment to the production and marketing of the Fernando Alonso Collection’s items also goes in this direction.”
Floriano Ottaviani, the manager of ARS, is particularly satisfied: "The partnership with Tars International allows us to take part in the graphic preparation and the presampling of almost all the items, and to distribute the official merchandising products at all the Grand Prix races"
