The pulleys and belts are mechanical components which have the function of transmitting the motion. Depending on the requirements, can be of various types, materials ee measures.
One of the most frequently used is the variable speed pulley: is formed by two opposing disks, one fixed and one mobile, and a spring that compresses and holds together the discs. Thanks to its structure, the variable speed pulley allows to vary the speed of the motion transmitted, depending on which the belt runs on one or other disc.
The disk of smaller diameter is what allows the strasmissione at low speeds, and some models are equipped with a knob to move the belt on the discs, varying duqnue speed.
Such as belt pulleys, belts are also available in various designs and finishes, depending on the needs of users: flat, toothed or trapezoid.
