Lottozero \/ Textile Laboratories presenta la prima mostra personale italiana di Farkohondeh Shahroudi, artista iraniana residente a Berlino da oltre vent’anni. Con una serie di lavori recenti realizzati durante la residenza-premio presso Villa Romana di Firenze, l’artista d\u00e0 forma ad una narrazione poetica attraverso le sue creature tridimensionali, fatte di stoffa e cucite a mano. Scultura, installazione e poesia sono i linguaggi con cui porta avanti negli anni una ricerca polifonica e sfaccettata, che si nutre di storia passata e presente, in una dimensione sociale e personale, intima e politica.<\/p>\n

Lottozero \/ Textile Laboratories presents the first Italian solo exhibition by Farkohondeh Shahroudi, an Iranian artist living in Berlin for over twenty years. With a series of recent works created during her prize\u00a0 residency at Villa Romana in Florence, the artist shapes a poetic narrative with her three-dimensional creatures, made of cloth and sewn by hand. Sculpture, installation and poetry are the languages through which she has developed a multifaceted, polyphonic body of work throughout the years, nourished by past and present history, in a social and personal, intimate and political dimension.<\/p>\n
