SILVIA CAMPORESI<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Inaugurazione sabato 7 dicembre 2013 alle 18<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 7 dicembre 2013 <\/span><\/strong>– 1 febbraio 2014 \n [Please scroll down for English version]<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Z2O Galleria | Sara Zanin è lieta di presentare Souvenir Universo<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>di Silvia Camporesi<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Il titolo scelto per la terza mostra dell’artista in galleria – dopo Where All Become<\/em> (2012) e Sifr – La distanza canonica<\/em> (2011) – nasce da un gioco di parole: i due sostantivi, uno francese e l’altro italiano, si anagrammano a vicenda. Ed è proprio la prospettiva delle permutazioni di significato, tipica del gioco anagrammatico, alla base del suo nuovo progetto. Punto di partenza è la fotografia: le opere in mostra riflettono sulle modalità concettuali e materiali in cui poter declinare il linguaggio fotografico. Così, la fotografia di un falso cielo e l’immagine in motion<\/em> di un bosco notturno, animato dalle lucciole, fanno da contrappunto alle video-fotografie di un piccolo vulcano che brucia ininterrottamente, o all’enorme massa d’acqua di una cascata che scende rallentata. Il tema universo<\/em> è qui inteso come scansione dei quattro elementi, rappresentati intrecciando finzione e realtà.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Anche nella seconda parte della mostra il luogo e il suo ricordo fotografico – il souvenir <\/em>– sono un pretesto per scavare nelle possibilità del linguaggio fotografico. Due grandi fotografie di interni, scenari che ricordano il film Stalker<\/em> di Andrej Tarkovskij, non sono luoghi reali ma immaginari, frutto del lavoro scultoreo di Silvia Camporesi che ha fotografato in studio dei modellini creati ad hoc. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Infine, l’antica tecnica giapponese del taglio e piega della carta viene applicata dall’artista su immagini di luoghi dismessi, azione che aggiunge una terza dimensione alla fotografia. Con questo ultimo intervento si conclude l’esplorazione immaginifica di luoghi reali e di finzione, esplorazione che sottopone la fotografia ad una riscrittura delle sue possibili esplicitazioni.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n L’artista sarà presente all’inaugurazione<\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n \n<\/p>\n \n INFORMAZIONI \n<\/p>\n \n Z2O Gallery | Sara Zanin is pleased to present Souvenir Universo <\/em><\/strong>of Silvia Camporesi<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The title chosen for the third solo show exhibition of the artist in our gallery – <\/span>after Where All Become<\/em> (2012) and Sifr – The Canonic Distance<\/em> (2011) – arises from a wordplay: the two nouns, in French and in Italian, are <\/span>each <\/span>the anagram of the other one. <\/span><\/p>\n Indeed, Camporesi’s new project is based on the perspective of meaning permutations, typical of the anagram play. Photography is the starting point: the artworks exhibited reflect on the conceptual and material ways in which photography can be explored. A picture of a fake sky and an image in motion of a night forest, animated by fireflies, represent the counterpoint of video-photographs of a small burning volcano, or of a huge waterfall that descends at a reduce speed. The theme universe <\/em>is here intended as a distinction of the four natural elements, represented by weaving together pretence and reality. <\/span><\/p>\n Also in the second part of the exhibition, the place and its photographic memory – the souvenir<\/em> – are a pretext to explore the many possibilities of the photographic language. Two big pictures of interior places, reminding the film Stalker<\/em> of Andrej Tarkovskij, are not real but imaginary places, outcomes of a Camporesi’s work, who took pictures of scale models in the studio, models expressly created for that aim. <\/span><\/p>\n Then, the ancient Japanese technique of cutting and folding the paper is used by Camporesi on images of crumbling places, this technique adds a third dimension to the photography.
