un assalto sonico di proporzioni epiche, che convoglia la potenza del grind white noise di Merzbow il pulsare tuonante della batteria di Pandi ed un uso feroce e free di sassofono, clarinetto ed elettronica live da parte di Mats Gustafsson in un unicum che rieccheggia suggestion di Metal Machine Music di Lou Reed, a Interstellar Space di John Coltrane a composizioni dei Sonic Youth. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;; font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;\">I cinque titoli evocativi di Cuts (ispirati dall&rsquo;esibizione del 2007 dell&rsquo;artista audiovisuale Leif Elggren &ldquo;something like <span style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">seeing in the dark<\/span>&rdquo; ) sono indicativi dell&rsquo;atmosfera vorticosa che pervade il disco &#8211; &ldquo;evil knives. lines&rdquo; ricorda un vortice alla fine dei giorni che succhia via il cosmo, mentre &ldquo;deep lines. cuts&rdquo; potrebbe funzionare come colonna sonora di Prometheus di Ridley Scott. &ldquo;the fear too. invisible&rdquo; unisce rumore bianco e acri percussioni, mentre &ldquo;like razor blades in the dark&rdquo; vede Gustafsson lanciare fiammate multifoniche dal sassofono baritono a contrastare il pulsare poliritmico di Balazs Pandi.
